Ralph Dixon,
founder of R.L. Dixon Ltd. began his jewellery career at the tender age
of 14 sweeping floors and running errands for Skelton Jewellers in
Montreal. In the late 50's, though only 25 years of age, he was a master
jeweller, and had created dazzling platinum and diamond designs for many
of the firm's well-to-do and often famous clients, among them, Princess
Margaret and President Eisenhower.
Ralph became known for his honesty, diligence and innovative approach to
manufacturing and design, and never forgot that his customers came
first.
R.L.Dixon (Ontario) Ltd. opened in Ottawa in 1977 based on the same
principles. Most of the jewellery is still hand-made, custom-made and
manufactured on the premises.
Ralph buys diamonds and colour stones directly and with uncompromising
standards. R.L. Dixon clients make informed decisions with confidence
because we take the time to educate our clientele.
