(Opening
act Kitchener bluesfest 2009)
Samantha
is a young emerging local talent with her
eye on the big prize!
Her
performance career began at the age of 14 in
high school coffee house events, and quickly
moved to bigger venues.
This vocal phe’nom has
been asked to perform at festivals, opening
the
Kitchener
bluesfest in 2009, singing the American and
Canadian National Anthems at Scotia Bank Place
for the Canadian Women’s National Hockey
team, and performing on capital hill for the
Martin Luther King 2010 Celebration.
With local and
international singing competitions under her
belt her acclaim is just beginning,
culminating with a Top Performers prize in
Nashville
this year.
Children’s Wish
Foundation in Ottawa has chosen Samantha as their young
ambassador.
She has shared the
stage with great performers such as, Kathy
Grant,
Canada’s
first lady of gospel,
Alisha Nauth, Canadian
Idol top 10 finalists and Cheryl Lescom,
Canada’s
Blues Queen.
Samantha
will be recording in Nashville this October.
